Can Your Bible Survive The Blood Of Christ Authority Test

By Rod Nelson

The current "in" thing today in religious circles is to get one of those "New & Improved" Bibles

In this day and age it is common to be swept into a rush to use the newest, easiest, best, but is this wise when it comes to bible translations? Before you changed to any NEW bible someone should have been wise and caring enough to point out that there are over 5,000 discrepancies when compared to the King James version.

Coming from a corrupt text is the reason why there are so many conflicts. New translations are a more modern language then the KJV but the original manuscripts differ from what the KJV Bible came from. So the real issue is not about translation it is about the original TEXT used.

Here is a quick check to see if you have a corrupt bible, turn to Colossians 1:14. Does this verse contain "through his blood" if not your text is corrupt.

Remember, you cannot translate what is not there.

It is important to understand the process from which the King Jame Bible came from. Our bible came from an intervention of providence a preserving process naturally occurring within the doctrine of inspiration and preservation.

Bible Believers see it as. The preserved & inspired Word of God can now be held in my hands. We have confidence in that God has preserved His Word through preserving the copies throughout history maintaining the reliability of the originals. For the English language the King James Bible is from God's preserved manuscripts. The following questions are answered by this view.

1 - how will I identify the inspired words.

2 - how the inspired words are preserved.

3 - where are the inspired words.

First you must recognize what the word of God claims of itself before you claim the bible to be your authority. The bible can't be an authority for your life if it is not the final authority in your life.

Bible believers should accept as their final authority what is God's final authority.
